Nurture is providing comprehensive architectural leadership and project coordination for the assessment, design, and implementation of the Roof Davits and Tieback Systems at Cook County Provident Hospital. As Architect of Record, Nurture is leading the integrated design team through all phases of the project, including existing conditions review, field verification, consultant coordination, design documentation, permitting, bidding support, construction administration, and project closeout. Our approach is focused on developing a clear understanding of the existing building systems, operational requirements, and safety needs of an active 24/7 healthcare facility while minimizing disruption to hospital operations.

The project scope includes a detailed evaluation of the existing roof davit and tieback systems through document review, site investigation, structural assessment, load testing coordination, roof condition analysis, and integration of specialty investigations. Nurture is coordinating the efforts of structural engineers, testing specialists, roofing consultants, scanning teams, and cost estimators to develop a comprehensive assessment report identifying existing conditions, required improvements, and prioritized recommendations. Nurture will implement the recommended solutions through coordinated design, documentation, permitting, and construction support to provide Cook County Health with a code-compliant, durable, and maintainable Roof Davit and Tieback System supporting the safe operation of Provident Hospital.
