Joe Juhl is Technical Director and Senior Associate at Nurture. With a wide-ranging portfolio and a strong emphasis on sustainability, he excels in residential, commercial, mixed-use, historic preservation, and adaptive reuse projects. Joe holds a Master of Architecture with a sustainable design concentration from Judson University, paired with a Bachelor of Arts in biblical studies from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago. Joe’s unique multidisciplinary perspective brings a deep regard for history, culture, and society. He understands that architecture does not happen in a vacuum, and is committed to nurturing meaningful connections between people, communities, and the built environment. As a Certified Passive House Consultant, Joe is dedicated to the best sustainable design practices, furthering Nurture’s expertise in energy efficient, carbon-free buildings.
